Winter Dreams On Ice

The London Skating Club is pleased to announce that the National Championship Intermediate Synchronicity team has been invited to participate in a Christmas Skating Show. Winter Dreams On Ice will be presented at the John Labatt Centre on Sunday, December 19th, 2010. The show features performances by Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, Christina Gao, Jennifer Robinson, Shawn Sawyer, Jodeyne Higgins and Sean Rice, Emanuel Sandhu, Joel Geleynse, and Kayla Freeborn. The LSC is proud that the Synchronicity team will be featured. Also invited to perform by the show organizer is a small group of LSC senior girls  who will skate to a live musical presentation. Good luck to the Intermediate Synchronicity team, Olivia Akena, Alex Desando, Kinsey Greenfield, Brooke Marshall, and Shelby Nielson.
 

Congratulations

The London Skating Club was recently represented at the BMO Skate Canada Western Ontario Sectionals Figure Skating Championship, Nov 12-15, 2009 in Sarnia, by club members, Alexa Pravongviengkham, Alexandria Desando, Michaela & Scott Botsford, Kinsey Greenfield & Tyler Hearn.

Congratulations on achieving some personal bests at this competition.

The London Skating Club extends special congratulations to Michaela & Scott Botsford – Novice Dance who won silver medals at sectionals, and to Tyler Hearn – Pre-Novice men won bronze at sectionals.

Michaela & Scott Botsford, along with Tyler Hearn have qualified to advance to the BMO Challenge Championships, that will be held in Mississauga, Ontario from December 2-6, 2009!

The competition schedule has been posted on the section web site - www.skating-wos.on.ca. It is the competitors responsibility to down load the announcement, read carefully,and mail or courier the completed entry form to the registrar of the competition. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY COMPETITION IN THE 2010-2011 SEASON. All completed entry forms must be signed by the club president, Steve Komarnicky, or test chair Chantalle Desbiens. They will not sign blank entry forms.
